This piece has 4 female dancers and they are portraying these sassy divas with their own personalities and swag. Ultimately, these ladies are competing with each other to prove that they are baddest diva to hit the stage. I based this piece on my personality (high energy, sass, fierceness and charisma) My choreography consist of a lot of jazz and hip hop movements. I see a lot of solos and ensemble parts throughout the piece. For wardrobe i see the dancers in different colored sequent, crop top, long sleeve shirts with black shorts and maybe matching socks to the shirts.

How many times have we all seen that ' jazzy walk' entrance? I feel that you are far more unique and clever, and I am hoping that it was simply a 'space hold' until you come up with something better. A few suggestions would be to think of a few sort of abstract closeups for each of your dancers to represent the characteristics you mentioned setting us (the viewer) up to know who these individuals are (or) start the music, let it play in darkness, and the lights come up as they start the phrase already center stage.
Try very hard not to fall into familiar movement ideas as jazz an hip hop, being trendy, can cause this. Think of it this way...as you have invented a movement vocabulary for modern composition, jazz and hip hop can be created through the same means of finding unique vocabulary. As I say this, after the dancers walk out to center, the movement vocabulary for about 8 sets of 8 (give or take) is quite interesting and unique. Where your head was for that development was your true, free, and creative thinking mode. Keep that up!
I like where you are going with the music, but I would insist that you really remix it, adding elements to it that leave your audience guessing. YouTube will also block the video if it infringes on any copyrights, and this can potentially destroy all of your hard work. Artistically, the thing you don't want your viewer to do is come to conclusions solely on the music because of its popularity, even a familiar genre can do this. That is why pop artists (the good ones anyway) are always trying to think outside the box, outside what everyone else is doing. We definitely notice and appreciate those who do. This is the angle I recommend you to take. If you choose something too familiar or predictable, you may loose the interest of your viewers.
Work very hard without boundaries and with the freedom, uniqueness, and creativity to truly speak "YOUR" voice – not an echo of others. I feel that you have lots to say!!!!! Looking forward to seeing where you choose to go. ❤️
