The music and the choreography compliment each other well for the section you have so far. I think continuing to play with timing and a canon like we did on Friday added a lot to the piece and should be something to think about either for this section or a later one. Other than that, the moments where the dancers jump or the arm clicks up, is a nice change in qualities and is a nice accent to the movement.
Stephanie, this is starting out to be a wonderful piece. There's a lot of movement and I feel that you should play with it to see how you can alter and manipulate it. For example, try different levels! How might this phrase look if Lexi started standing and then went to the ground? Also, explore the concept of a canon. While it may not seem like much, it adds a lot to the piece. Finally, ask yourself what is the intention of the movement? Once you answer that for yourself, share it with your dancers and allow them to interpret that. I'm looking forward to watch this piece grow!
