Here's the first take we did for filming on Sunday! There's gonna be a few other angles, but here's this for now. Make sure to switch the quality to (1080p60 HD) before watching :)youtu.be03/05/2020 (Take 1)
Nicely done. The beauty of nature is an award winning set! Brava!! The other angles as you mentioned especially closer ones will really vary the point of view for the audience. Truly think about what it is that is so important for the viewer to see about the dancer. Personally, I wish to see her face and circling around her sash dances.
The music is melancholy. Is she? Does the water symbolize a struggle as she is trying to move through it and remain balanced? Is she cold? Or, is the water her home and land is a new place? Is she contemplating going to another place, (stepping out of the water) and is it difficult for her to make that decision? How does one show contemplation or melancholy to an audience through camera angles? These are the kinds of decisions to make as you select your angles. Tell us her story through the lens.
